*NOTE: Amazon and other book distribution outlets additionally require an ISBN# at a one-time cost of $129 for each style of your book (paperback, hardcover, ebook).

Royalties and Pricing your book on Amazon
Because Amazon charges additional fees on every purchase, your book will necessarily sell for a higher price on Amazon’s Marketplace. Additionally, some authors prefer to sell their book at a nominally higher price to cover the costs of featuring their book on Amazon. When it comes to royalties on your book, make sure you add that onto the selling price as well after calculating costs.
